RSA Conference 2021 is upon us. From May 17-22 the first virtual RSA Conference will be coming to a screen near you. The theme of this year’s conference is Resilience which seems very fitting after the past year. Security teams have had to enable their businesses while also making the shift to a mostly remote workforce almost overnight in early 2020. The resilience and adaptability of security teams is something that has been truly inspiring to behold. So, in that vein, the show shall go on!
A Data Protection Problem: Insider Risk
Code42’s Head of Security Product Research, Mark Wojtasiak will be delivering a session at 1:30 PT on Wednesday, May 19. He will be discussing the ways that security teams can and should rethink the way they approach protecting data in the age of hybrid and remote work. It’s no longer possible to monitor all activity going out over the corporate network because the corporate network became end-users’ home networks and subject to the whims of consumer ISPs. Even as things begin to open back up more fully, there has been a fundamental shift in the way that knowledge work is conducted. Mark will be highlighting the ways you can address and embrace that shift while keeping your organization’s data secure with backing from research from Code42’s Data Exposure Report.

We’re assuming that at the end of a full day of web-conferences it’ll be necessary to wind-down a little. To help with that goal, we’re hosting an event from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. PT on Tuesday, May 18. Socialize and get a caricature of yourself drawn live. Each drawing will take about ten minutes and you will receive a digital version via email a few days after the event.
