Code42 to Present at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2014

Company to discuss best approach to endpoint data visibility and control to support compliance efforts

Minneapolis — Oct 6, 2014

Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and management for business and enterprise, today announced its Director of Product Marketing Ann Fellman will present at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2014 this week in Orlando, Fla.

Fellman's presentation titled "Your Data has Left the Building. Go With It" takes place on Oct. 7 at 3:15 p.m. ET in the Osprey Ballroom at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. She'll discuss the shift of user-created data to the edge of the network—away from its traditional home in the data center—and how IT can adapt to adequately protect and govern this surge in endpoint data living on the edge. Fellman's presentation also will explore the shift's impact on business productivity, and how a user-first approach to data backup, remote file access and file sync/share—leveraging the right data protection and management platform—accelerates the adoption necessary to give IT visibility into endpoint data in support of security and compliance efforts.

With more than 16 years of experience in technology, Fellman drives strategic product marketing efforts for Code42's award-winning data management product suite. Prior to Code42, she led product management for Rimage Corp.'s Signal Online Publishing (now Qumu) software and was a principal product director at Oracle.

In addition to the presentation, Code42 will demonstrate its CrashPlan enterprise endpoint backup and SharePlan enterprise file sync/share applications in booth #138 of the ITxpo expo hall. Powered by the Code42 platform for endpoint data governance, CrashPlan and SharePlan empower employees to easily protect, share, access and recover data from their computer or preferred mobile device. Customers choose from private, public or hybrid cloud deployments, all backed by the company's award-winning customer support.
