Code42 to Present Keynote at KMWorld 2013 Conference
Company to discuss why file sync/share and endpoint backup require separate applications due to competing security requirements
Minneapolis — Nov 5, 2013
Code42, developers of award-winning, endpoint data protection and management solutions for consumers, businesses and the enterprise, today announced Director of Product Marketing Ann Fellman is presenting the afternoon keynote at the KMWorld 2013 Conference, held Nov. 6-8 in Washington, D.C.
During her keynote—“File Sync/Share is Not Endpoint Backup” on Nov. 6 at 12:15 p.m. EST—Fellman will discuss why file sync/share requires a more open but less rigorous data security approach than enterprise endpoint backup, which demands the highest measures of data security. Fellman also will explain why attempting to address these two distinct business challenges through a single application jeopardizes the safety and privacy of critical organizational data.
Fellman taps into more than 15 years of enterprise technology marketing and business development experience to drive strategic product marketing plans for the company’s award-winning data management product suite. Prior to Code42, she led product management for Rimage Corp.’s Signal Online Publishing software and was a principal product director at Oracle Corp. Fellman has extensive experience in the enterprise content management, enterprise portal and Enterprise 2.0 software markets.
In addition to Fellman’s keynote, Code42 is demonstrating its CrashPlan enterprise endpoint backup and new SharePlan enterprise file sync and share solutions in booth #401 at the event.
