Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and recovery, today released further details about Evolution17, the company’s second annual customer conference that brings together security and IT experts to discuss best practices and innovations in real-time security and recovery. Featuring keynote speakers, “ask the expert” panels, certification courses and the Evolutionaries Awards, Evolution17 will take place May 2-4, 2017 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
“Celebrating our customers’ growth and innovations was the highlight of last year’s inaugural conference,” said Joe Payne, president and CEO of Code42. “We look forward to seeing them in San Francisco in May, to network, solve for the latest data protection challenges and recognize their achievements in real-time data security and recovery.”
The conference will include a keynote from leading cybercriminal investigator and former Washington Post journalist, Brian Krebs. It will also feature the second annual Evolutionaries Awards, which recognize the achievements of Code42 customers, to be announced May 3. Nominations are being accepted through March 10 across 10 categories that celebrate the unique deployments, successful adopters, best-practice makers and innovative applications that address data protection and recovery needs of today’s organizations.
“Evolution17 is a great opportunity for our customers to network, develop a deeper understanding of our product, and learn innovative ways to deploy Code42,” said Karen Pisha, senior vice president of customer success at Code42. “We look forward to sharing with them about how they can use Code42 to solve challenges such as ransomware, compliance, insider threat, and data migration.”
Evolution17 attendees will choose from more than 28 sessions aimed at educating Code42 customers on getting more out of Code42 CrashPlan. For additional education, customers can connect with peers and the Code42 team to enhance their knowledge and expertise of Code42 solutions with pre-conference education courses, breakout sessions, panel discussions, hands-on labs and fun networking events.
