Code42, the leader in modern endpoint data security, today announced that its Code42 CrashPlan solution has been named in G2 Crowd’s annual list of “Top 25 Mid-Market Software Products.” Code42 CrashPlan was rated the No. 2 mid-market software product overall with a satisfaction rating of 9.63 and was the only endpoint backup solution to make the list.
“From the product itself to the sales team and customer support, Code42 is top notch,” said Jeffrey Gutter, senior network engineer at M/I Homes, Inc. “It’s refreshing to have peace of mind knowing I can manage backups and computers across Windows and Linux with a product that just works and is easy to set up. Given the size of mid-market staffs and budgets, Code42 CrashPlan is perfect. You get the most value for your money without having to sacrifice performance or quality.”
In the past year, Code42 has seen its sales rise among enterprise and mid-market customers by more than 50 percent. Companies such as Utex Industries, Ping Identity, Surescripts and Waypoint count on Code42 CrashPlan to securely and continuously back up their end user data.
“There’s nothing better than a vote of confidence from our customers. This ranking proves we deliver on our promise of providing secure, continuous endpoint data protection,” said Joe Payne, president and chief executive officer at Code42. “Code42 CrashPlan is a great fit for all businesses because they can recover quickly from any data loss incident—including ransomware attacks—without the need for additional resources.”
G2 Crowd created the top 25 list to help mid-market businesses pick the best technology for their needs, based on customer reviews and how likely users were to recommend the product. Each company on the list also received more than 20 reviews from mid-market users. The list, which defines mid-market organizations as organizations with 51 to 1,000 employees, is based on reviews from Aug. 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016.
