Code42 Increases Investment in the DACH Region
Endpoint data security company to open new office in Munich’s technology center to support growth
Minneapolis — Sep 12, 2016
Code42, the leader in modern endpoint data security, has expanded its presence in the DACH region to support its growth in sales, which have nearly doubled in the past 12 months. The expansion includes opening a new office in Munich led by security and software veteran Carsten Graf.
“With the ongoing growth in ransomware attacks, as well as the challenge of managing insider threats, organizations everywhere are looking for a better, more efficient way to protect, secure and recover end-user data,” said Joe Payne, president and chief executive officer of Code42. “For companies like Salesforce, Expedia, National Geographic and Juniper Networks, Code42 ensures rapid recovery from ransomware as well as other endpoint data threats.”
Code42 offers a secure, cloud-based solution that continuously backs up data so organizations can recover from any data loss, quickly and effectively. In the past year, the U.S.-based company has also opened new offices in Colorado and California, as well as expanded its team in the UK.
The company’s investment in the DACH market demonstrates its commitment to its growing customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “The DACH region is in a period of high growth from a technology perspective,” said Graf. “There’s never been a better time for organizations to re-evaluate how they address an increasingly mobile workforce and the resulting risk that goes along with it.”
Prior to joining Code42, Graf was a cofounder and managing director of a high-growth SaaS company. His technology background includes expertise in delivering managed security services to global enterprises and a depth of understanding in security regulations set forth by the European Union.
