Code42 Opens Office in San Francisco Bay Area

New Office Puts Company Closer to Top Customers and Talent

Minneapolis — Jun 2, 2016

Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and security for the enterprise, today announced the opening of a new office in San Mateo, California, to support its commitment to a growing customer base and enable the company to tap into top talent in the area.

“San Francisco is an important and growing market for us; some of our largest and fastest-growing customers are based in the area,” said Joe Payne, president and chief executive officer at Code42. “We are excited to continue to grow our team and expertise and to ultimately better serve our Silicon Valley-based customers.”

The new office, located on Campus Drive in San Mateo near GoPro and NetSuite, will primarily be made up of the customer success and sales teams, as well as the growing security team, led by Chief Security Officer Rick Orloff, who joined the company in December 2015. Also planned for the 5,600-square-foot space is a customer education center where the company will provide a variety of training and education options for local customers. Code42’s Silicon Valley-based customers include seven of the 10 largest tech companies in the world and some of the nation’s top universities.
In addition to recent expansion plans in Minneapolis’ Washington Square, Code42 is focused on growing national and international presence with another office opening later this year in Colorado.
