Code42, the leader in endpoint data protection and management, today announced that it will participate in the Twin Cities Business’ Emerging Growth Forum, held May 13, 2014 in Minneapolis.

Matthew Dornquast, co-founder and CEO of Code42, will participate in the forum along with four other executives on Tuesday, May 13 at 3:00 p.m. CT. Dornquast will discuss lessons learned for successfully starting and growing a company, including tips for finding the right talent and best practices for landing a first round of venture or institutional financing. Additional participants in the forum include Tom Kieffer, CEO of Virteva; Patrick Meenan, director at Arthur Ventures; Amy Nelson, CEO of Accurate Home Care; and Tom O’Neill, president of Nerdery.

Speaking from firsthand experience on exponentially growing Code42’s revenues and employee headcount since 2001, Dornquast regularly presents at leadership events on the topic of growth and innovation. Most recently, he spoke at Tech.2014—hosted by The Collaborative and Minnesota High Tech Association—sharing how the cloud is changing businesses, and at Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Technology Executive Roundtable, advising business leaders on problem solving through persistence. A sign of Code42’s swiftly rising profile, rapid growth and continuous innovation, the company was recently included on Forbes’ prestigious list of America’s 100 Most Promising Companies for the second consecutive year.

The Emerging Growth Forum will focus on “growing to scale”—the most important challenge facing emerging growth companies. Twin Cities Business regularly hosts events with the region’s most influential leaders, exploring the “how” behind their success, strategies and solutions.
